How much

protein and carbs per lbs should I eat while on MAG10

Im around 313 dropped from 330 in about 11/2 months...

Im starting my cycle of MAG10 for 2 weeks then tribex and M for 2 weeks soon..

just working how many grams of protein i should consume during my bulking phase...

thanks in advance

damn if it doesnt really work

90% of the post on this forum is wrong..

maybe you didnt administer correctly when you cycled or you wasnt eating properly

This is the way I see it. My answer is at the bottom but first hear me out.

These are common prices for these items

MAG-10 cost $100 for 1 bottle

Whey protein $100 for 20 pounds (the 5 lb whey like optimum and prolab for about $25 for each 5 lb x4 =$100

I would definately go with the 20 lbs of whey which is about 6000 grams of protein than spend that same $ on a small bottle of MAG-10.

I am just not impressed enough to spend all that $ on MAG-10 when I could get all that whey for the same price.

As to answer the original question, if I had an unlimited supplement budget I would take in 1.5 to 2 grams of protein a day for each pound of bodyweight.

Cytomel, don't take this as a flame but...

ARE YOU FUCKIN SERIOUS? Have you even tried Mag-10 or any 1-AD or 1-Test product? His question was "how much protein to take with Mag-10" not "which is a better value: $100 of whey or a $100 bottle of Mag-10." Nobody pays $100 for it. I paid $58. You can take all the whey protein you want, but it won't put your body in an anabolic state or push you past your genetic potential. A 1-AD or 1-Test product will do both of those.

BigBoy23:
Are you sure Mag-10 is the right product for you? How much of that 313 is bodyfat?
Anyway, if you are going to use it, do 2 grams per lb of LBM. I did make one huge error when on it, though. In an effort to get my carbs up, I was taking 200 grams of maltodextrin a day (400 on workout days), which was a huge mistake that added fat along with my muscle gains. So try to eat lots of clean carbs like bananas and potatoes instead of a bucket of sugar like I did. The exception is your post workout drink, of course.

I did a cycle on Mag-10. It worked pretty good for me. However, im gonna try something new. Tryin 1-ad stacked with Boldione. its workin pretty good actually.

As for your question. I say take in atleast 1.5-2 grams of protein per lb of body weight. but dont overdue it witht he protein, your kidneys might get a little pissed off at you.

Also, u4ik_rage stated a good point too. take in a good amount of carbs in. Try to make sure that your carbs have a low score on the Glycemic Index (GI).

However, post workout you do want something with a high GI. This will bump up your insulin and cram all that yummy muscle building nutrients into your muscles were they can be put to good use.

Throuhout the day, with the exception of post workout, try to make sure your carbs have a low score on the GI. The reason is because a large influx of sugars will trigger the release of insulin. Although we want insulin post workout for all our muscle building needs, it is not ideal to bump up your insulin levels after that. The reason being is that insulin doesnt distinguish fat from muscle. So, you may store some sugars in your muscles and liver as glycogen, or you just may put on some extra weight in the form of fat!

Also, try to eat some fats with your meal. The pyloric sphicter ("valve" between stomach and small intestines) will respond to the presence of fatty acids and will contract which will make gastric emptying take longer. Also, this can be used to help increase protein absorbtion.

That last part i read somewhere on one of the boards, but i dont remember where. Anyways, credit for whoever posted it.

C: I mentioned MAG-10 I said nothing about 1-AD or any of the 1-Test. I think 1-AD is very good and a much better deal than MAG-10. Also I did answer his question at the bottom of my post

C: Yes 1-AD and 1-Test are good products although I said nothing about them in my post. Why are you ripping me about them? I didnt attack prohormones at all, but I think MAG-10 isnt worth eve $58 a bottle.

C: Also whey can put you in a very a very strong muscle growing state. You can take all the MAG-10 in the world but without enough protein you wouldnt grow much or at all.

Everyone on this board is aware of the fact that you need to take protein on any anabolic agent. You can take all the whey you want, but you won't grow 6-12 pounds of muscle in 2 weeks without help from something else unless you are a genetic freak.

You are getting away from your original statement which was, "MAG10 doesnt really work." That is clearly untrue because I know it does, having used it myself. It is definitely pricey but that's not what BigBoy asked about.

Will MAG-10 really grow 6-12 pounds of muscle in 14 days? I say its bullshit.

You said on the thread about stacking MAG-10 that YOU USED MAG-10 ONCE AND YOU EOULD NEVER USE IT AGAIN!!

How could you be all about loving MAG-10 and then you said YOU WILL NEVER TAKE IT AGAIN?
I am confused about this how someone could say this.

Alright, let me lay down my experience with it.
First of all, here is what I was doing before Mag-10: I gained 6 pounds in 2 months off nothing but the standard glutamine, creatine, and 2 grams of whey per lb of LBM. I've been taking those forever but these gains came because I finally got my diet in check (including eating 300 kcal/day above maintenance).

I actually stopped creatine a week prior to see what this supplement can really do. I started in mid May. I increased my calories by about 500 a day (up to 800 a day above maintenence) but this was ALL maltodextrin. Big mistake. I gained about 10 pounds but some of it was fat. I got pretty good strength gains.

I'm gonna cut this short. I'm kind of trippin' right now, I think I just saw HHH outside my store (anyone know if he or his wife drives a BMW?).

To run it down, it works, it is over-priced but does have advantages over some of the other products, my next cycle (1-AD and Andro-Spray) will have less maltodextrin and more complex carbs, the claims are exaggerated, but that's just standard supp. marketing.
