I did a cycle on Mag-10. It worked pretty good for me. However, im gonna try something new. Tryin 1-ad stacked with Boldione. its workin pretty good actually.
As for your question. I say take in atleast 1.5-2 grams of protein per lb of body weight. but dont overdue it witht he protein, your kidneys might get a little pissed off at you.
Also, u4ik_rage stated a good point too. take in a good amount of carbs in. Try to make sure that your carbs have a low score on the Glycemic Index (GI).
However, post workout you do want something with a high GI. This will bump up your insulin and cram all that yummy muscle building nutrients into your muscles were they can be put to good use.
Throuhout the day, with the exception of post workout, try to make sure your carbs have a low score on the GI. The reason is because a large influx of sugars will trigger the release of insulin. Although we want insulin post workout for all our muscle building needs, it is not ideal to bump up your insulin levels after that. The reason being is that insulin doesnt distinguish fat from muscle. So, you may store some sugars in your muscles and liver as glycogen, or you just may put on some extra weight in the form of fat!
Also, try to eat some fats with your meal. The pyloric sphicter ("valve" between stomach and small intestines) will respond to the presence of fatty acids and will contract which will make gastric emptying take longer. Also, this can be used to help increase protein absorbtion.
That last part i read somewhere on one of the boards, but i dont remember where. Anyways, credit for whoever posted it.
