Taking 1000 mcg every day seems like a lot, some have purported that if you take frequent enough B12 for a long duration, your body may become dependent on B12 injections, and have even more difficulty (than it does now) absorbing B12 in the intestines from natural animal protein sources in your diet.
I cannot attest one way or another the legitimacy of that, but I have read it enough times to make me think about. Nonetheless, I inject 1000 mcg 2 times a week when on cycle, and 500 -1000 mcg once a week while off.
