about 25 pounds of lean muscle for me in 2 years of hard kick ass training, tons of money on gear/supps, and more pain and discipline than anything else in life..
still.. WELL worth it!
i wouldn't mind getting 65 lbs .. i'd be up to 285.. now that would be SAWEETUlter said:I put on 65 over 10 years but have settled in at 35 total over 20.
There used to be a few guys on this board in the Golden Era who did that. Thumper was one.Sweed said:i wouldn't mind getting 65 lbs .. i'd be up to 285.. now that would be SAWEET

Stand about 220 right now, barely fitting into XXL tees.

Mavy said:The lightest I actualy remember weighing when I was in my late teens early 20s was 180lbs. THe highest i have ever weighed was 227lbs. I am sitting now at 205 contemplating if I should hit another cycle up soon. My problem is that I like to travel. I went to a 3 month surfing trip from Nicaragua to Panama 4 years ago, and lost all size I had. Came back and started up again. Misc Injuries have put me back a few months in some cases which caused me to loose gains as well. Now, this January I am going backpacking in South America for 5 months. So I plan to loose a lot of mass all over again. Eating beans and rice, and not training for 5 months will take a nice little toll on you. THis is a very frustrating thing to grasp, (kinda like 1 stip forward, and 2 steps back), but its something that I have weighed out the odds and want to do with my life right now. Trust me .. I have even thought of jabbing while down there, and trying to pop into a gym twice a week for a full body workout just for maintenance, but I know that it would just never happen. If I havent had any of these gaps in my life and training, I feel pretty confident that I would be sitting at, and holding a good 220lbs right now. But hey .. you gotta live life a little right??? lol.

lol .. They have been the best times of my life. Fair trade off in my mind.Sweed said:i wouldn't mind getting 65 lbs .. i'd be up to 285.. now that would be SAWEET
Mavy said:Its quite obvious that if you dont continually work hard to keep the muscle you have gained, your body will want to naturally go back to its normal genetic state. Its a full time job to continually keep growing, or even maintaining your new found slabs of meat past your genetic potential.
