What up EF? With the prices of oil at an all time high, I'm wondering how much everyone pays for gas per gallon? If you don't drive much does it cost where you live? :Chef: :tuc:

$2.23 here
 
It just dropped down to $2.19 from $2.25 here, and they make a big deal about the drop.

3 months ago it was $1.97.
 
2.15 - 2.20 depending on the station and brand

Yeah gas has quite a ways to travel. Southern states like Florida and Texas seem to have the best. :Chef: :tuc:
 
2.17 here in TExas. I'm thinking about trading my car in for a Geo Metro. 45mpg. Anyone know of one that gets better gas mileage than that?

Filled up today down here at 2.35--& that was the cheap stuff.

Biteme, there is a turbo deisel version of the VW Jetta that gets almost 50 mpg on the highway (this isn't even a hybrid--just high tech motor)---BUT VWs in general & Jettas in particular are not known for reliability or customer satisfaction. If you can find one Toyota Prius gets 50 or better---BUT I'm a bit reluctant to try new technology until its been around long enough to debug the glitches. You can get detailed specs including mpg & everything else on ANY new car at intellichoice.com Happy hunting
 
We got it down to 2.24 today. But on Thursdays, it generally goes up in price due to weekend traffic! :Chef: :tuc:
