We all know how important rest is, but how much do you really get a night on a regular basis. During the week I average probably 6-7 hours and on Friday and Saturday nights about 12, I love to sleep in on the weekends. Also if I remember correctly your body releases growth hormone when you sleep and cortisol when your awake. So does this mean that when ever you take a nap you get the GH or is it only at night when you've been sleeping for awhile. What actually triggers the GH release?
