How Much do you guys pay for a PS2

Too expensive for me currently. I woiuldn't get one unless it drops by at least 40% of its current price.

I got 5 of them the first day they came out. I paid $320 total with tax for each one. I sold all of them for atleast $725. I made a killing on them. I did have to get a few friends to camp out with me, but it was fun and well worth it. Now I just went out and bought myselft one for $320.

Anyone who paid more the the M.S.R.P of $299.99 +tax got ripped off and you damn well know it. Does Sony know how to hype or what?

The same might happen when the X-Box and Gamecube are released.

It all seems to be about hype nowadays.

Over here in the UK it costs the equivalent of $440 rrp
and I just met a guy who can get me them for $300

btw I cant order from the US as the US and UK systems are different.

One of my friends paid $350, got the system, two controllers, memory pack and two games off of www.Amazon.com

Well i paid 430$ for the console and with memory card and NHL2001 it was 500$. Expensive machine, but it kics ass Xbox and Bill Gates can go to hell IMO GameCupe could be good machine too, maybe i puy it, because it is cheap.

BTW GT3 is soon ie EU
