How much dextrose?

Sorry, I'm sure this question has been answered before, but since I can't do a search...

Just bought a 10lb bag of dextose and want to use 50g in my post workout shake. Unfortunately, all of my scoops are measured in cc's. So how many cc's of dextrose will get me 50 g?

MaybeI didn't make myself clear, but I don't have a scale, I only have tons of different size scoops measured in cc's.

If you're doing this to get an insulin response, the ideal dose is 75g...not 50g. 75g of dextrose is the standard for the drinks they use to do glucose tolerance tests at labs and hospitals.

I have no idea, but I told you 1/3c will give you 50g dextrose...how much easier can it be?

Yea I think its about 1/3 to 50-75 grams of carbs. I use about 1/3 cup and I think its about 75 grams, but I could be wrong. Either way, 1/3 cup seems the way to go for me anyway.

Yea that looks about right. Hell I just scoop up an overflowing 1/3 cup and throw it in with everything else. LOL.

My bad. Sorry JG, I was thinking in terms of cc's so when I saw your response 1/3c I thought you meant 1/3 cc's and I just knew that couldn't be right.
