How much deca for injury?

Hey bros, My boy asked me to post this question. Maybe some of you guys can help.

He has some kind of elbow joint pain. How much deca and how long should he he do it before he can expect any relief, if deca can help him at all?

100-200mg of deca per week usually is sufficient to relieve joint pain. It is not immediate and sometimes takes a few weeks to work.:)

In my book gear is the last thing you want to be using if having joint pain, which is likely tendon/ligament damage. You will gain strength and further tax these tissues causing more damage.

I second that opinion Zyglamail, gear makes tendons more pliable and prone to injury. So adding more is just putting you at higher risk for damage. But I've seen more than a few people here claiming that they have used a short run of Deca to clear up joint pain.

Zyglamail is correct. I say give some glucosamine, and chrondotin (sp??) a try. I've tried it, and I must say I like it.

Some people don't like it, others swear by it, but i think its worth the try.

I've tried Chondroitin and Glucosamine... It was a waste of money for me, (didn't do a thing).

My best results have been from using plain old Motrin inflamatory. But many here think that inflamatories shouldn't be used during your cycle since they tax your liver when it's already being over burdened with the AS.

Did anyone read the thread starter, it asked how much deca to use for joint pain. I have chronic tendonitis in both shoulders, nothing helps except deca, I do a 12 week run of deca and I'm good for a year or better. Glucosimine chondroitin are a joke as far as athletes are concerned. I have found CLA somewhat helpful though.:)

The problem with most people taking glucosomine/chrondritin etc is that they supply the building blocks to repaire tendons/ligamints but most people dont let their body get in a state where the repaire is forced. Most people load up on anti-inflamatories which negates any effect and most of the healing that may occure.

Liftsiron, I bet a few trips into the doc for prolo and you will find your tendonitis will be gone.

Thanks lifts!

What dose you usin?

pharnguy I only use 200mg a week to get full relief in a couple of weeks. now this may not work for everyone.

Zyg I've checked there is not one person who uses prolo as treatment in my area. No orthos, chiros or other theripists that I've contacted were even vaguely fimiliar with it. Someday I intend to try it.:)
