How much caisin at night?

Hi, finally decided to spend the money and buy miscellar caisin for a night shake.

Starting a cutter next week - how much should I consume before bed. I was thinking 40P?
 
I should add I weight train in evening, finishing at 9pm, going to bed at 11pm (intended time for shake)

Follow up your training with a whey shake immediately, then bomb down your casein right before bed. 40 grams of protein is good in each case...

Thanks - that is what I have done.

PS, tried a casein shake for the first time, and couldn't believe how filling and bloating it was.

I'm stunned they don't maket this as a diet shake because for once I went to bed not wanting to eat
 
i just started taking my casein as well.

I only use 1 scoop (this shit is expensive) 23$ for 24 servings. about a buck each.

I would ONLY take casien at night prebed, or as a Meal Replacement, for after your workout, like ingrim said, jugg down a WHEY protein, since your body needs to be able to absorb the protein ASAP after a workout.

I feel i am getting leaner using the cassein,

P.S. As a meal replacement, i usually add 1 scoop vanilla cassein, 1 scoop of strawberry whey + Milk or H20+ANPB(if im bulking), tastes great, and i am getting the best of both worlds.
 
I've noticed that casein is quite filling compared to whey as a shake. I'm suprised they don't market this as a diet shake as a result. Also, dieters who were too lazy to eat 5+ meals could surely benefit from its long term anti-catabolic tendencies (perhaps this is why studies on people eating dairy link it to weight loss)

As for meal replacement, I'm using 3 omega 3 eggs + 25 gram caisin during the day, as well as 30 grams at night (as well as a bit of cheese).

For cutting do you use whey or casien for a meal replacement -I was thinking casien better because it has less of an insulin effect?

as a meal replacement, i always throw some whey in my casein, for the simple fact that 8hours is very long time to digest something and the whey will help with protein absorbtion, the casein will def slow down the digestion rate of whey, but why will still digest a bit quicker.

But if, you want to keep it to 1 protein, then casien all the way.

Sim882: i think the primary reason casein is not marketing like other proteins is because you NEED to blend it. Literally, you can just mix it with a spoon, and most obese/overweight people are just lazy. They dont want the extra step.

But the best thing about my blender, is it comes with a blender cup. it can use the big picture for bigger drinks, but makes perfect 1 serving drinks in a cup that cleans ASAP too.
