How much BA is needed for:

IMO, the way of the kit is just fuckin stupid, wasteful and you have no idea of your concentration(mg/ml)!
The best way(up to 99%)
1.) Dump pellets into sm glass container. Pour in just enough Methanol(I like acetone better) to dissolve the pellets, the filler will be left behind.
2.) Filter this through a coffee filter into a large container(I use a spagetti sauce jar). Wash several times with the solvent you used to dissolve the pellets. This can take a while, but you save all the good stuff, and the garbage is left in the filter. With the washes, I use an equal amount of solvent as the initial amt used to dissolve the pellets (times 2). eg. If it took 12 ml to dissolve the pellets, wash with 12ml through the filter, let drain completely, then wash again with 12ml, let drain, gently squeeze the filter dry.
3.) Poke a small hole in the bottom of the distilled water. Just large enough so that it drips about 1 drop/2-3 sec or more. The longer the better. Only have enough water in the distilled water container to fill the jar with the good stuff in it. It really helps if the distilled water is very cold, and onece again, the slower the water drips the better. The slow dripping, of cold water makes the good stuff fall out of solution and form crystals on the bottom of the jar.
4.) When all done stuck in the fridge for a couple of hrs, filter the whole mess through a tight weave coffee filter, or double them up. Wash several times with distilled water, let dry.
5.) When completely dry weigh the good stuff. Use the calculator here:

to get the desired amounts of everything correct. I've gotten 90mg/ml to stay crystal clear with 2%ba and 6% bb. It would almost stay clear without anything. It was just a bit cloudy without, but now crystal clear, well light amber, but clear. Next time I'll try 1% and 3%.
6.) Some say not to heat, some say to heat. I heat it to exactly 250* for 45 min, and it's not been a problem. If you heat it up, make sure you vent the vial.

You don't know what concentration you have in a kit? You put the hormone into the solution which is 100% yld at that point whereas with crushing and filtering you are already behind the game.
Then you filter the liquid.
What is lost and where and how difficult is that?
BTW, a good kit won't use much, if any BA and if you have 5ml TOTAL solution in a 2g kit with 25ml TOTAL yld you then have only 20% of TOTAL being solution with only a fraction of that possibly being BA.
And that's too difficult? Sorry, but not everybody can be duped!

You can get away with 1.2ml(2%) BA in a total volume of 60ml(100mg/ml). There's just no sense in using more solvent than you need.
I'd just rather have the extracted powder(I get about 95% yield), weigh it, and put it into solution. I know exactly what the concintration is.
