How many times should you hit the protein shake a day?

i try not to drink more than 2 out of 8 total meals. but if you do it right you can drink more. you can make it healthier by adding a little broccoli and depending on the time of day evoo, anpb, egg whites, powdered oats ect. i maintained my weight before with nothing but shakes for 2 whole weaks. went through a rough family time and couldnt eat. i drank 6 or more muscle milk shakes per day. i was smaller then maybe around 180lbs 5'5'' 15%bf.
 
It all depends on your goals.

I try to consume 2.5x bw in protein daily. I have two 75g shakes every day. One is a meal on the go with either added olive oil or nuts. The other is taken right before bed with added fiber and some fish oil. On training days I also have a PWO shake.

I think you should be getting at least 60% of your daily protein from whole foods.

your kidneys didnt have trouble bro? I always heard its really dangerous to just take in cals strictly from liquid like that
