How Many Pushups Can U Do!

Im just curious, they have contest every spring break by the pool at Copacabana in poco and the hightest of i have seen was 170 pushups!! from this juiced up guy that was about 215 and shredded in poco!

I honestly can do around 80 tops try it u will be suprised!
 
I honestly do not see how 215 would be a problem. Now if they put a certain time limit on how many you could do or had you do it while you were drunk. That could get difficult.

Sometimes during some training sessions at a particular shitty wrestling school... we had to see how many we could do it 60 seconds.... i got 92.... :p
 
this months muscle fitness in the uk has an article on the man who holds all the push up records in the world. i can remember exaclty what the numbers are but that i think his record is 4000 something continously. 37000 in a day. ill scan it and send it to someone and they can post it if they want. any offers.

Lol.!!! That's nutty.... Maybe this guy has some kind of mental disorder where he can't stop doing pushups? You know, like those people who can't stop drinking water (it's a real problem, my sister works with these people) so they have to be monitored going to the bathroom and taking baths and showers, so they dont drink themselves to death....

and i thought i drank a lot of water! damn. i've read it takes something like upwards of 20 liters a day can cause death or at least some other serious complications
 
On my last cycle I did a shit load of pushups at work all the time to help out. In one cycle I went fron 15 (huge pussy) to 75. No bullshit. I was doing at least 300 a day when I was juiced out to the gills. Everyone at my work thought I was on crack but fuckem.
 
It depends how short you are. Really short people can do them all day. They go down a couple of inches and come back up. I'm 6'6. I could do 105 when I was in the military a few years back. But we had a two minute time limit. Don't think I could do more even if I had more time.
 
I do 200 pushups and 200 situps everynight before I go to sleep
I do them in sets of 100. I think if I really tried I could probably get like 125 out but only on a real good day. By about 75 my arms start shaking. I dont even know if doing pushups everynight helps, but I like the pump I get in my chest so I do them

yeah I do pushups for the pumps also. and I beleive it does help maybe burn some fat or whatever. I'll keep doing them I love em.
sit-ups I hate and will not do them,:D
 
havent tried them in a while. But I did 82 in 2 minutes when I was 18 and benching about 250 at 165. I am now 27 benching upper 4's at about 225, and would imagine I could do over 100. Not positive about that, maybe I will try it and see sometime.

Why would that kill you?
 
i did 75 with my coach on my back in high school, he said if i could do 50 we wouldnt have to condition that day.
