How many people go to the movies or out to eat alone?

it's mostly by choice so don't feel bad

I just don't find my friends interesting anymore and quite frankly we have little in common. I got tired of hanging out with them doing their things and putting up with conversations about crap I don't care about.

I've been that way for a long time. I only need so much social contact.

I'd be too paranoid to eat in front of you. I would just steal looks at you the entire time.
Why? What, do you chew like a cow? Do you have to unhinge your jaw to eat? Do you shluurp!? LMAO! Whatever it is, I think I'd live through it.

I might get food in my teeth or something. Nothing sexier than spinach in your teeth.

I'd lick it out. I love leftovers!! LMFAO! Just kidding! I don't care about stuff like that, though. I'm too old to give a shit about the little things that bother most other people.

LOL. That put a big smile on my face.

I think I have finally ostrasized myself from all my "acquantances" that I can officialy call myself a loner. I still have friends but none that I really care to see too often. When we do hang out, it's usually something of their choice because I was always the weirdo of the group.

I guess I'll have to start beign that weirdo that shows up to the movies alone or shows up at local diners and restaurants with a book so I won't look so sad by myself.

Anyone else?
Has this anything to do with you being on the wagon?

I think I hear what you're saying. I've cleaned house a few times after realising I had absolutely nothing in common with the people I associated with other than over indulgence. I prefer to meet people through sport. People that appreciate their health have a positive influence rather than encouraging my vices.

Cinema no, aircon's too cold, too many people and get them on DVD before they hit the cinema. Eating out, all the time, constantly searching for quiet places to sit and read during breakfast or lunch. Don't know about where you live but noticed around here people are uncomfortable with silence. They fill in their imagined gap with annoyingly loud music or a TV blaring in the corner in an attempt to create atmosphere. Silence is golden.
