How many people go to the movies or out to eat alone?

I think I have finally ostrasized myself from all my "acquantances" that I can officialy call myself a loner. I still have friends but none that I really care to see too often. When we do hang out, it's usually something of their choice because I was always the weirdo of the group.

I guess I'll have to start beign that weirdo that shows up to the movies alone or shows up at local diners and restaurants with a book so I won't look so sad by myself.

Anyone else?

I can't go places like that alone. Even if I'm with my 4 year old daughter, it still feels weird. I can take her to the movies and be okay, but out to eat is strange. I still do it cuz she's my luvie, but I like to have that 2nd adult to have normal conversation with.

Eat out by myself all the time. I don't feel strange at all. I can enjoy my food without having to talk to anyone.

it's mostly by choice so don't feel bad

I just don't find my friends interesting anymore and quite frankly we have little in common. I got tired of hanging out with them doing their things and putting up with conversations about crap I don't care about.
