How many people die from steriods per year?

All you who are aginst AS are non-users. In last years LONDON marathon 2 people died of a heart attack. These people were supposdely super-fit. My freind, who has never been near weightd developed kidney complications and as a result only has one kidney.
NOW IF THESE PEOPLE HAD USED AS, PEOPLE WOULD SAY STEROIDS HAVE KILLED THEM.

We are all going to die at some time or another.

Well some of you are trying to name the same few (incorrectly ) that have died of steroid use....how about those that is has saved? Policemen that are in a fight for thier life ...burn victims that are able to recover , or myself after an accident , nearly bleeeding to death , but having enough extra blood volume to live trough the surgery and then afterwards having enough roids to help myself recover at a very fast rate? I think they have saved more live then taken....
PS thier are 4 death directly related to steroid use , in research paper ,,, just check elite fitness archives....not the disscusion boards, and 2 of the cases the useres where taking Abombs. one of them was already dieng and then developed liver cancer, and the other was healthy but took a-50 for 4 years at like 400 mg aday ....he desearved to die!

Maybe roids dont directly kill but most certainly they can have indirect secondary effect that can result in death.
If you have a latent cancer, roids can promote the cancers growth just as well as your muscles. Some cancers DONT turn off after discontinuation of steroid use. If your blood volume thickens to 3 times its viscosity
and cholesterol levels soar and LDL sky rockets, you CAN have clots and CAN have strokes at ANY age. No, Im sorry, its all the diet-yeah, right. Yes, meds can kill. Sure if your on some hepatoxic drugs for long term treatment, you are quite likely to experience liver and kidney stress. So, then long term or frequent steroid use promotes liver and Kidney health? A giant heart is nothing to boast about. Steroids accelerate your body-its recovery as well as its breakdown. No games here. Waiting for someone to post the comforting news that steroids dont
do any real harm so we can feel better about our activities is not acknowledging reality. Its a gamble, hoping we are not one of the unlucky ones pay the potential consequences. I am not a hypocrite. I just know that I may one day pay for my use. I am aware and acknowledge the risks.

I am on my first cycle (very mild compared to some). But I got checked out by the doc before and was healthy he did blood worked etc.. I also plan on going about 4 weeks after my cycle to make sure there is no damage an all is good. if there is probs I hopefully found it in time and can take the appropraite action. I think anyone who cares about there body and is on AS should get checked out before and after a cycle. Most docs say physical every 3 years ( mine did) but with taking AS you can increase you chances of problems so It is always best to get checkout out.

There was a post on here about a former member of the board who developed an abcess from an injection. He injected in his delt, ignored the abcess, and ended up dead when the bacterial infection spread to his heart.

There are many ways to severly hurt yourself with gear, gotta be careful.
