How many K blasts do I get a day?

This is what i am confused about. I dont think it is in any sticky or the like. Is there a certain number of times i can give people Karma? How can i find out how many times i can give K? Say, if it is 8 per day. does that mean i get 8 green K blasts and 8 red K blasts or is it 8 total? do people with more K points get to spread K more often? i am familiar that a person with more K points will be able to give more K per blast.
