how many cals for a 150lbsler?

Hi.
How many cals per day do you think would be good/best/enough to put on weight?

i eat like 3-4 normal meals (no supplements) a day and i take like 2 protein shakes and a postworkout shake. the shakes make up about 1500 cals. so i get like 1500 cals + cals from 3-4 meals. is that enough?

so If I am 200 I need 4000 cals per day.. 500 grams of protein? I thought I was doing good on days I got 300+ grams of protein down.

no way bro! 500 grams of protein is ridiculous. you are right on with the 300 you've been getting. 200 at least, 300 is perfect in my opinion. my rule of thumb is 1.5 grams per pound of body weight, if trying to gain, and 1 gram per pound to maintain.
 
keep in mind if you are 150 your metab is probably very fast. 3-4K on the cals minimum 3k and I would do the protien at 1.5-2grams per lbs
