How long until Anavar kicks in?

I have just started on 40mg/day of BD Var. How long until I should start to feel the effects of it?

for me the strength is noticable at around day 10 then comes the vascularity shows up a little before that. the strength just keeps going up and up! good luck
 
i would say around 2 weeks.
 
wootoom's right but I actually felt (or thought i felt) effects after 3-4 days, maybe placebo effect, but weights started feeling ligher from then on and just carried on getting ligher til the end of the cycle.

Good stuff, but can't afford it this year, otherwise would do again. I'm going to the other end of the spectrum....homebrew fina - dirt cheap!!

I've only been on it since Monday, so a little while to go yet then.

I'm also taking proviron and clen.

The clen I'm already feeling the effects of with the shaking, nausea and general aching!
 
I started a var cycle three weeks ago and noticed changes after two with a remarkable difference between weeks 2 and 3. I'm also dieting so that helps to bring out the hardness and vascularity, but what a difference a week will make.
 
i'm on week 2. and it feels like it's finally starting to kick in. i'm at 30mg. broken up 10mg every 8 hours.
 
Just starting my first cycle of var only 30mg day for 8 weeks. can anyone give me some idea of a PCT for this? I was thinking of 3 weeks nolvadex 20mg aday. sound about right?

ya run nolva 20 mg for 2-3 weeks

and toss in some OTC goods

Maca 1000 mg ED

tribulus 2000 mg ED

I'm off at the moment, and must add that its been the best post cycle ever, lost a few pounds but look just as good in the mirror and strength has stayed exactly same as last week of cycle, and I've currently been off for 6 weeks.

Var is good stuff, but like I said, can't afford it right now, so gonna give tren a try.

You must be rolling around in cash, it seems your always on a fairly decent dose var cycle of somesort?
 
Ok I've been on it for 2.5 weeks and still no strength gains @ 40mg/day. However, fat loss from the other drugs I'm on and my diet has been awesome.

I had planned on 40mg/day var for 8 weeks for some modest strength gains. Should I run the 40mg/day for the rest of this week, and then bump up to 60mg/day for a further 4 weeks (i.e. the total cycle length drops a week to 7 weeks)?

Bear in mind this is my first cycle.

Is it possible that some people are just immune to anavar and regardless of dose it won't do a thing for me? Do you guys have to try a lot of different roids to find out which ones work best for you, or is it more or less the same for everyone?
 
i hope you got a good var and not a dud. u should start noticing a differeance at the gym. don't forget to up your intake of whey protein.
 
how much non solid protein is a good amount on var? I was taking 1/3 whey/casin and other 2/3 solid foods. In total about 350g (2g's per lbs). Is this enough or is 50:50 better. Would adding more pro be better or is that enough.

I have been on it for 20 days and have the same problem. I have noticed that there has been no strenght gains but at the gym I seem to be hurting my self very easily. not cool. going to do the test eth like i was told :rolleyes:

Update on this. On Sunday (1 day shy of 3 weeks on Var), I think it may have kicked in. I got a PR on Clean and Push Press by 7.5kg on a 3rm, then went up another 2.5kg and did 2 reps.

And then I got tonsillitis, which has kept me out of the gym since then. This means I missed ME Lower on Monday and will be missing ME Upper on Wednesday as I still feel like crap. The fact that I can't eat anything solid means my diet has gone to shit and I look bloated (weird because the proviron should be stopping that) and feel like crap. 2-3 days ago I was looking leaner than I'd ever been and with no bloat at all. Bummer.

So whether it was the Var kicking in on Sunday I can't confirm, as I haven't been able to max out on anything else since, but it looks promising.

Why, 3 weeks into my first cycle, when it starts to kick in, I have to get sick, given that I hadn't previously been sick for more than a day or two total in the last year or so is beyond me. Talk about getting the shitty end of the stick! :rolleyes:

If the 7.5+kg increase is anything to go by in a single session since the var kicks in - this could well be worth the money and so much more.
