How long is a complete stop....

I got pull over for not coming to a complete stop I am pretty sure I did. To top it off it was a female cop. I had the fake tears ready to go tell I saw it was a woman coming up then I knew I was shit out of luck.

this is where my traffic management course comes in effect, there is no time limit set in the highway traffic act stating how long the stop must be,aslong as you stop forward motion your set, fight it in court

I was told in Defensive Driving by the cop who taught it that a complete stop is 3 seconds.....1 1-thousand, etc.....

No one around here stops at stop signs.....I almost get run over daily....

id flat out deny it, and try that on the judge. where im from, youre meant to come to a complete stop at a stop sign, end of story. i dont recall any mention of the actual amount of time..

The guy whom gave me my drivers test told me it was when you press the brake and the car stops and you feel the momentum go forward then stop. You the driver will go forward slightly, then come backwards into your seat. This is in the USA and of course Police Officers get to use their own judgement on such matters.
