I did a search on this topic and came across a couple of really good post. Especially realgainz 2 week cycles, and Drjmw's no more than 6 week cycles.

Just curious to see how long people are going on for and what their results per cycle is.

Im thinking about lowering my ON time, 4 - 6 week cycles at a higher frequency sounds better , and less sides than a 12 weeker. With proper PCT seems like it would be much easier to recover from these smaller cycles. Gains probably wont be the same, but seems like a better approach for someone who is not competing.

4-6, or 12. Most cycles from now on will be in the 4-6 range. This is the time when I experience most of my gains anyways, and I feel like I can almost walk off the cycle with no recovery. I still do, but I never really have the shut down feeling. THe cycles are very different from the short ones to the long ones. All fast acting gear is used for the short ones.

Also what kind of gear are you guys using?

Like mavy said faster acting compounds are for shorter cycles. Im thinking to sticking to NPP, Var, Propianate ( if I do test ). The EQ thing is gonna kill me. I love EQ and from what I've gathered on this board and in general, is that it seems to be a no no for shorter cycles, almost pointless.

Wouldnt mind trying tren either...

I see no need for longer than 6-8 weeks for me. I have had killer results with this length of cycle. Why fix something that isnt broke.

Used to do the typical 12 week cycles for the most part and alot of times would get caught up and run em straight through for up to 16-18 weeks at a time. I guess you could say I had a little problem, and didn't want to come off. Well, my recommendations now would be stay short, get in and get out. I would say 4 weeks is optimal, 6 weeks max.

my first was 14 weeks suspension, cyp, and fina.
im on week 5 of 15 right now enanthate, dbol, fina
id go longer but i have to avoid NCAA test.

Id really thought there would be more people on the shorter cycles. Wow 3 - 6 months! Do you 3 - 6 monthers compete?

I'm undecided on my next cycle. But when my package arrives next week I'll have plenty of Enanthate, Prop, EQ, Deca, Var and Sustanon to choose from. I'm thinking maybe a EQ/Prop combo, but I'm not thrilled about shooting every day with Prop.

Im in the middle of a 18weeker,only side was lactating minor clear fluid for a week, and before I found out what was up it was gone,no gyno symptoms or nothing and since switching from a cutter to bulker at week 8 Ive added around 10lbs as of last weigh in and not went up in bf,just holding water from the dbol

and if all goes well these will be the type of cycle I do from now on as I feel they work for me,shorter cycles require me to eat far higher cals to add the weight which results in more fat gain

So what was it bro?

not sure everyone thought prolactin but Im on dbol and enanthate,I had this before when I added naps in a cycle and jumped on nolva, this time the lactating went away on its own before I got any tests done, and since I have no gyno symptoms Ill let it go

At 4-6 weeks I just start seeing the gains I want. Thats why I generally run mine no less than 6 months. I use a lot of HGH though as well so thats an important reason as well. I'd say I always average 6-12 months at a time.

I use to do whatever I could get my hands on. I would go on 6 month cylcles of test and not even realize it. I had a bad car accident and broke my femur bone in my leg and couldnt do anything, even when I wanted to go back I was to depressed to start all over again. got my shit together though and I wont go on any more than 8 weeks now.
