How long do u work abs??

Exactly, I treat them pretty much like any other body part. Instead of hitting them ed or eod with just a few different exercises, I like to really hit them hard twice a week by themselves(actually with a boat load of cardio too).
 
Abs can be worked out everyday. There the quickest healing muscles in the body. So you can pretty much hit them all you want. I maean other people might have there own opinions but being in the military, I've had to take plenty of classes on physical fitness and shit and thats what I have learned. I hit my abs every day after my workout and even sometimes when I'm just around the house I'll get down and bangout some crunches.
 
this is how i get my shredded abs

i never work out my abs, i just got granted them by genitecis. i worked them out for a few months and saw no change so i just quit and they stay like they are presently, very nice even with 10%bf.
 
The abs are a small muscle. I burn the heck out of mine with a five-minute workout (4 exercises, one set each) once or twice a week.

Doing hundreds of situps or whatever is a waste of time and effort.

If you're doing your exercises right, your abs shouldn't need more than ten minutes a week IMHO. I actually had to cut back on my ab work, because they started getting too big. I started getting that Jean-Pierre Fux protruding stomach.

Why would they heal faster?
 
You can train abs 1 or 2 times per week. IMO any more is just overtraining as any other body part.

Asshole. lol Good point though, genetics deffiantly play a big role in how your abs look.
 
Abs should be worked only once or twice a week. Abs are your stablizers and they are used everday in some fashion or another. Anything over that is overkill IMHO.

i have some big mofos with low low body fat but thier abs are not very impressive. ex:my brother, his dont even show with lower body fat than mind but he is wayyyyyyy bigger than me, trade off on genetics.......ohwell
