How long between cycles?

snagglepuss

New member
My last cycle was 10 wks:
wks 1-8 deca
wks 7-10 winny

How long do I have to wait before I can start my next cycle (probably primo+winny)?

thx.

I operate under the theory that time on = time off but that's a personal thing. I think it mostly depends on the results of your post-cycle blood test, which I usually take. If my T-levels have recovered to their normal state I'll go on again. If not, I wait it out for a few more weeks. I get the blood test done a few weeks after my 21 days of clomid therapy.

Does "time on" include post-cycle therapy time, too? In other words, if I do a 10 wk cycle and then 4 wks of post-cycle therapy, do I need to wait 10 wks or 14wks? And do I start counting from the last dose of AS, or from the last day of clomid?

post cycle therapy

I've always been under the impression that post cycle therepay is not included as "time on". At least I hope so, cause that's how I've been doing it. Oh yeah, I usualy wait 6-8 weeks or so between cycles, but you weren't using any test. I'm not sure if that means you can start earlier or not.

thanks joshbb1,

If I could start after 10 wks, not including clomid therapy, that would be great. My cycle didn't include test, but it did include deca, which (from what I understand) has a very long half-life. That's why I'm not sure if I need more time.

I follow time off=time on.

Therefore, since I was off for the first 18 years of my life, I will be on until I'm 36.

Then, I'll bridge.

Time off should equal time on, unless you have some reason to override that. The only reason I can think of is that you've had a doctor check all your values and everything has returned to normal.

One follow-up Q: when do you consider 'time off' to actually begin? is it 1 wk after the last shot, or 3 wks, when post-cycle therapy starts, or when post-cycle therapoy ends?
cheers.

I really don't know when time on = time off started....but I would be surprised if most people "recovered" in that amount of time.

after a 12 week cycle it usually takes me up to 5 months to get my levels up to a normal reading. and that is with post cycle clomid and nolva.

I will use HCG next cycle to see if it makes a big difference in recovery time

Sounds like you may as well not use clomid at all then...it doesn't seem to be doing much for you.

DIALTONE....

just outta curiosity as i've never had blood samples take pre or post cycles. how would i go about asking a doctor to take my samples to determine my test levels?

in your opinion, would it be foolish to say that my last doctor prescribed me HRT due to low test production but i haven't taken my medication in 6 months and have been feeling very weak and lost 30 pounds???

thanks big guy

you should take the same time off as the amount of time on. so if you were on for 10 weeks you should be off for 10 weeks
