How late is to late?

My GF suspects that she's pregnant. How late does a woman have to be to warrant a concern of pregnancy? I gotta admit that I'm sweating bullets, here.

I don't think theres any rule bro, just buy a home test kit from the supermarket and you'll know.

unfortunately the store box test kits are not 100% reliable....you should back it up with a PG test from the Doc.
Bro there are a million factors why a woman can miss her period and why she "thinks and feels likes she is PG"....you will torment yourselves until you get a test done trying to speculate, "well maybe its because"...... dont even go there.

it has happened to me before a lot of times. It dont nessecarily means she is pregnant. But just to be on the safe side when she is like 7 days late, get that pregnancy test. Hopefully she gets it in the meantime

We may haved jumped the gun on that. We already bought a home pregnancy test and used on the second day she was late. It indicated 'not pregnant', but I don't think that necessarily means anything. Being only two days late, I don't think those hormones would be present in the urine.

I think the test are getting more sophisticated every day. If you are still concerned, try another test.

I have missed a whole month before and wasn't pregnant....so it varies from girl to girl....check in a couple days.....I used the home test the day before I was to miss my period and knew I was pregnant and I was positive..but I was trying to get that way...

If she has really low bodyfat, the periods can go on indefinite hold.

I took 7-8 tests before one came out positive (within a 2 month time period). Only one came back positive and I was indeed pregnant- in fact I was around 6-7 weeks pregnant when I found out
It depends on the woman and how fast your hormone levels go up
Then a few months ago I swore up and down i was pregnant again- took 3 tests- 1 came out "faintly positive" went to the dr- and it was a big fat NO- thank god- so...........it varies widely

wait til she is atleast 5 or more days late before you start sweatting. take a home preg test. they are not always right, but work well with most women. there could be a dozen of reasons why she is late; stress, hormones, diet, if she has started working out more than in the past, shall i continue...it wouldn't be life if we all didn't go through at least one preg scare.
