How is everyones progress going?

Where are you guys at with your goals?
Getting ripped for the summer?
Bulking?
What are you running etc?

Me. Got in a car accident. Have not worked out in a few months. Couple of bulging disks. The waist is getting wider and the abs are fading.
I got on the Dr's scale and saw 257. I have my work cut out for the summer if I am going to look decent. No juice for me still. If I can pull it together now and look good by June maybe...
 
I know I haven't been on here much lately, been mostly over at MD. But, I'm currently dieting/training for the Iowa State NPC show. I've got about three weeks left and will come in as a light heavy this year, which is light considering I'm 6'2". But, I look a lot better than last year and hopefully my conditioning will be better this time around (I know it will, but I got to bust ass as I'm behind!). I'm using all the same stuff as usual, just working harder. But, right now I'm on prop/tren at about 450mg. total per week, plus formestane (my own crazy injectable concoction.. I'm nuts) and a little clen. I really am loving the clen now that I can see it working with my other efforts, before I just didn't work hard enough and so I didn't notice as much..

Ok, so that's a bit of rambling from me...

I judge for the NPC in six states. Conditioning is everything. Kick some ass!

naw screw that. When I'm off AND can't workout, which has been the situation for awhile ...about 2 months and still have about 1 more to go, its all out eating just to maintain.
 
I used to be able to tighten my diet up top notch when injured. I would get ripped beyond belief and then when I could work out again I would slap a ton of muscle on.
Now I have a shitload of stress from work and beating off ten times a day doesn't make me feel better. So I eat crap. I feel good for a minute then I hate it.
The funny thing is I remember thinking I was fat when I was shredded at 234. Now I am 257 and I am pretty sure I am disgusting!
Oh well. Only I can change it.

you and I both know we know how to get our shit in shape when we don't have huge obstacles and know pretty damn sure exactly long it'll take us to get our strength, size up back up to what we consider legit!
 
I'm gaining about 1lb a week.

I'm really loving doing squats and deadlifts now. I haven't been able to do them for a long time (3 years) due to a bad back injury. I finally got the go ahead to do them by th doctor, and my progress is taking off the ground! My lifts are going up, my legs don't look like chicken legs anymore, and I feel stronger and look fuller. The fact that I get to "start over" with my gains on the lower half is nice, and everything is shaping and growing nicely. My upper body was getting too big proportioned to my legs due to my latest cycle, but my gains natty are awesome right now due to being able to squat and dead. I'm loving it right now.

i am off until wife gets preg and cannot even ride my bike so i feel your pain--actually not--heard bulging disks suck ass
 
slat1, you still in CT?

i'm still lean bulking, putting on weight while paying strict attention to the waist

been doing well, test and primo is treating me right, plus i feel my training is more efficient than it's ever been...most importantly i feel great

diet just makes sense lately, i'm realizing that my body responds very well to carbs...i used to think they made me fat

whole wheat pasta is magic for me (pre-workout only)

not sure what my long term goals are yet

what were your injuries?!?!

I got hit by a car 4 weeks ago!

Very hard too, my errand car was completely totaled
 
just came off my a big cycle 1.5 weeks ago. i got huge. i made major improvements to my back. the tape measure shows improvement in other areas as well. but as usual it is hard for me to tell. i always have to compare b4 and after pix.

i plan on taking the next 3 months and slowly diet some bf off that i put on cycle.

POST PICS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We want to see some more pics of you, you look awesome. how much weight did you put on?
 
20+ lbs. we will see over the next few weeks what was fat & water. but def noticeable difference to others. i got asked 3 times in the last month if i compete :)

pix wont be posted until after diet is complete. when all abs are fully visable.

looking orward to it, and congratulations on the gains. I hope you find that the gains are very solid, with little fat. Water is easy to rid.
 
Hey slat1, sorry about yur luck bro. You'll be back in tip top form before you know it so enjoy the time off from the gym if you can (I know it's hard).

I'm in my last week of a Test/Var cycle. I weigh about 210 right now (at 5'9" with a 33" waist) so I'm about 12% bf.

My back squat is just below 2x bw, deadlift is just over 2x bw and I did a strict military press (standing with knees locked) with my body weight the other day so I feel great.
 
10 weeks in deca and sus cycle, bulking
started at 185,now 205 7 or 8 % bf,5 11

would love to add another 10lbs,but im prob not getting there this time round

Swole. Kick ass job btw. You did it the right way. You worked out long and hard natural and took it as far as you could. Now you are reaping the rewards. Keep hammering away!
Still in Hartford. I am working a lot. Traveling too. The stress is killing my diet. Normally it would not be a problem but since I can't work out I threw in the towel.
As for my back I have two new degenerating disks. I also have two bulging disks. One is crushing the S1 nerve root.
Tomorrow I will be seeing the Spine Dr and he will give me his recomendation.
All I want is to be able to hit the gym. That alone will clean up my diet. If I can work out and drop down to 235 or less I may reward myself during the summer! :)
Then again who knows what the Dr will say.
 
Just trying to hold BF and put on some mass. Running maintenance dose of HRT at 125mg/wk of cyp. Holding at around 255-260 depending on water consumption and time of day. Will continue this through the summer, and bulk up this winter. Goal to hit 280 and lean out for next summer and maybe hit a show or 2. I figure at 6'1" I gotta come in at at least 230+ to stand a chance.
 
In my end of the country coming in as a Super Heavy is better than a Heavy. The Heavy's have way more guys in the class. 225+ is the way to go.
Then again, conditioning is king!

that is where i am hopefully headed, supers. competition is less for that here. plus at my height 6'2" i need that extra size to look as "big" as the shorter guys.

Last year at a show I was checking in a buddy who is 6'1" and came in at 228. I was 6'3" 240ish and shredded. I looked skinny as hell next to him. Every inch makes a huge difference when you are tall.
If I was ever going to compete I would probably have to be pealed at 260 to even be respectable.
I wouldnt trade being tall for anything though. :)
