how important is to space your meals??

like if you have a meal with 20g protein.. then eat something else only 1 hour later with another 20g protein...
cos everyone says eat only 2-3 hours apart
 
The less you overload your digestive system, the more nutrients your body absorbs. So, yes, it would be in theory better to eat smaller meals 1-2 hrs apart.

I personnally eat every 2hrs - 40-60g of protein with some carbs.
 
Plus lots of smaller meals keeps your insulin and blood sugal levels more stable=less chance of storing carbs as fat and less carb cravings when dieting
