can any one tell me the importance of pulling back the plunger for blood when injecting . because only recently i been told to do it this way. please help

pretty important if you want to live!!! Pull it so you'll know that you haven't tapped into a vein..inject into muscle good...inject into vein bad...you don't want 3cc of oil running into your heart:(

ok thanks for help i ve been doing this wrong for quite a while . how far would i need to pull back the plunger? would it create an air bubble if i pulled it back to far?

Very important more important on site injections in arms
because of increased vascularity. You don't want to burst a vein, or inject an artery which may carry the oil to your heart.

no, not true

quote:
"If you are injecting into the glute there is no need to aspirate.."

when my doc was shooting me with Deca, he ALWAYS aspirated. And after a few months when i was doing it myself and i asked him why to aspirate when hitting the butt, he looked at me as if i was a complete idiot. And i only asked it to put a reply here on the board. And now almost a year later, he stills thinks that it was me not aspirating. So do yourself a favor and always aspirate.
