how fat do you think america will get?

Not if healthcare starts paying for gastric-bypasses.

Otherwise, yeah, I can see 400lbs. Which is fine with me, it'll make me look that much more better than the fatties..

If we get rid of Poyeboy I think you can drop that average by 10 %.

they need to bring back the pad thing that nintendo used to have

if kids are gonna play video games
then at least have ones that are close to exercise

good call

kids need to start playing games like paintball instead of so many video games.

how so many kids lost interest in sports i'll never know

Not much more. How much worse can it get? How can we get less exercise or keep down more food (caloric consumption has remained steady for the last 50 years i think)? Are they going to make computers where you just think of a key instead of type, saving 40 calories a day? We already get almost no exercise, can't get much worse than that.

I'll wager in 20 years people will be on average 15 lbs heavier, then pharmaceuticals that actually work on obesity will come out and the obesity epidemic will end.

So?

Fat dudes RULE... its fat chicks that are a bad thing.

yeah i think that we are closer than people think to just taking a pill or gettin' zapped by a machine to be thin.

we'll definitely lose our edge then

the first drug that actually inhibits lipogenesis will probably make a hundred billion dollars for the company that makes it. Drug companies know this.

I hear they are using some anti-cancer drugs to starve fat cells to death in rats. Nothing will come of it in humans i bet but stuff like that is the future of anti-obesity efforts.

agreed totally. your hundred billion dollar figure it probably pretty accurate too, you follow the financials of drug companies?. looks like macrophagealpha has some work to do! lol

60.1% of the youth are overweight. Fat fucks. CHO depletion reduces weight but FM remains higher than people who loose wt due to exercise

WHere have you been? We have electric tie racks because we are too lazy to use our hand to check our ties. We have drive thru restaurants because we are too lazy to park at the restaurant and walk 50 feet. We have escalators because we are too lazy to walk up a flight of stairs. We have remote controls because we're too lazy to get up.

Do you think a people who are that lazy (most of us) are going to spend the rest of their lives spending 6 hours a week in the gym, living off just enough pet food to not go into starvation mode and counting calories rather than taking a pill? Not going to happen.

Bran987 - No, i don't follow their finances. But when you consider that about 70% of people who live in wealthy countries would buy an obesity drug then the numbers become obvious. Hell even the 3rd world is becoming fat and rich at the same time, they'll buy the drugs too.
