Alright, so I'm bulking right now, working out 5-6 days a week lifting as heavy as I can without compromising with good form and full range of motion. My diet is lean, high protein, low-medium carb, medium fat. I still want to stay lean even when "bulking".

We all know a good standard when you wanna put on mass is to eat a meal every 3 hours or about 6-7 meals a day.

In my case, this just doesn't work. Here's why:

I came home from the gym today, ate a BIG meal of chicken breast, brown rice/brown pasta mix sprinkled with olive oil, veggies topped with some peanuts.

I'm not exaggerating but 25-35min later I was furiously hungry again!! I didn't get what the fuck was going on! So I downed another big meal of chicken, pasta, broccoli (40/30/30) and was still kind of hungry 15 min after.

I GOT OTHER SHIT TO DO THAN EAT!

Any advice on why I might have such fucked up metabolism and how I can lower it a reasonable amount?

We definitely need to know more about you and your activities before giving a good answer here. There are a lot of things than can boost metabolism and cause you to be hungry more often.

One thing you can do is add more green vegetables into your meals. They satisfy hunger pretty well

bro this is just so vague... how can you expect us to help with such a lack of info? provide details so we can help!

what do you do for a living?

how old are you?

how much cardio do you do?

these are all factors

I'm 23yo,
I do ZERO cardio at the moment, never been much of a cardio guy in general. Planning to do no cardio until I put on some more mass to lean it out.
I don't do any physical activities outside the gym either. I was going to start kickboxing but decided not to mainly because it would hinder my gains.
I work in a bank sitting in front of a computer most of the time so I don't waste any cals there.

It just doesn't make sense...

You may need to cut back on any extra activitys thats burning calories meaning you may need to become lazy.

eh you are still young. we all had 8 packs when we were young, give it a few years and you will be wishing you had your metabolism back.

the best thing you can do right now is eat big to get big and lift big to get big. don't do small weight and rush your workouts. go heavy and hard and take time between sets to let your heart rate settle down.

i saw your pic and you have an excellent young base to work with, now its just a matter of tweaking your diet and learning how to lift heavier and harder.

need to be eating more cals..you sit on your ass all day which is good for putting on mass, but don't be someone who skips breakfast and then eats a hot dog for lunch and consider that a bodybuilders diet. read the bulker below in my signature and try to follow that.. i put that together especially for dudes in your shoes. http://www.elitefitness.com/forum/diet-bodybuilding/bulking-up-using-your-diet-steve-way-830603.html
