how do you uninstall musicmatch jukebox?

I have tried doing it from Control Panel >> Add Remove Programs >> MusicMatch Jukebox >> Uninstall and it won't let me. I don't even remember downloading this bitch.

I was using Windows Media Player to play my MP3s at the computer and now this mofo popped up out of nowhere. How can I changed it back to be played on WMP?

Burnando installed it. Open media player and go to Options on the tools menu. Go to the filetypes tab and check the file types you want WMP to play by default.

Broski, don't worry about uninstalling it for now.

1. Open up Explorer (file manager) and find an mp3 file....any one....doesn't matter.
2. Right click on the file and select "Open With" (you may have to hold down the shift key to get the "Open With" choice.
3. Select "choose program" from the popout menu
4. highlight "Windows Media Player" in the list and check the box "always use this program to open these files".
5. select OK til you're outta there.

doubleclicking an mp3 should open media player now.

Go under the C: Drive. Go to Program Files>>Musicmatch Jukebox and Delete the folder.

If step #2 didn't work then rightclick an mp3 and choose Properties. On the General tab there may an Open With line with a CHANGE box next to it. Try that then start with step 4 above.

sounds like you have some adware and spyware on you comp. you should run Spybot search and destroy then Ad-aware se personal.
That should make sure no funkey business is going on.

that's the easiest solution, the program file may also contain the uninstaller, if it won't let you delete the program file then it's already protected itself in which case I'd consider it malicious, try deleting as much of contents of the program file as it allows and remove it from your start up folder, run your anti virus program and spy/adware program to check and clean then restart
