How do you tell if she's married & has a ring on?

How can you tell? I need to know. This one in question wears a ring but it doesn't look like an engagement ring. It looks inexpensive (silver James Avery type). What's up with that? Why do hot girls wear a ring on that finger if they aren't married?

Happened to me this weekend. Me and this girl were totally hittin it off. Two hours later, I just happened to glance down and see this friggin boulder sittin on her hand.
