How do you minimize injection pain?

I am using a 23g for my sus, and I tell you it is hit or miss with the pain. I don't know if it is scar tissue or nerves or what. sometimes it hurts, sometimes it doesn't. I don't know. I am switching to 25 guage next cycle because it is going to be ED injects.

i am currently using the exact same gear.........bake it at 225 for 30 min. .......all the pain will be gone.........and im shooting 4ccs a week of just the test and 4ccs of EQ.

Cut it with sterile oil, 50/50. Most sources carry it or you can get grape seed oil from the grocery store and run it through a whatman.

Remember the old ttokkyo 250? I cut even that and felt NO pain. Zero.

That is my suggestion also. I almost never get pain from anything and I never do any of the other stuff such as heating up the gear, the 5-10min massage, the shot after the shower, the heating pad. Even with prop I dont have problems most of the time. The time I had the most problems was about a month or two ago and it was with T500. For the hell of it I gave all those things a shot and even tried cutting it with somb b12 that I had and the shots didnt become any better. Best thing to do is cut it with some steril oil. That really sucks that you have pain issues with T250 thats just crazy. Shouldnt happen in my opinion.

Where are you getting this, I have checked a few sources to no avail,

And will try finding grape seed oil at the grocery store tomorrow.



Oxymed- did you bake the gear in the vial in the oven?


I tried this about 10 years ago and the amp exploded,

my vial is 50ml, like a small soda bottle.


I have to take a 20 minute nap, that turkey is flooring me.

Yep.......bake it in the oven.....at 225 for 30 min......make sure and put a pin in the stopper befor you put in oven and leave the pin in while it cools down.....mine are the 50ml vials also.........dont worry about cutting it with other oil.......just bake it.......i seem to be sensitive to UG gear ....but after i bake it no more pain.

I had the same problem with BD gear.......painful shots for days after injection....i bake it and all pain is gone.

Thats another good place besides what i just PM'ed you.

For his purpose I think a steril oil is much better than EO, based on cost only. EO is a hell of a lot more expensive that any of the oils. Its like what 4 times the cost for the same amount of oil.

thats true, the EO is pretty pricey and is supposed to be a great choice for prop that has it incorporated into it when made. Its probably overkill/ a waste of $$ in a situation like this though.

I use the smallest pin possible, even if it takes longer to inject.

Always in the glute meat on the side as I sit down.

I follow with warm shower and hit the injection spot for at least 5 mins.

Result? No pain.
