I transfered it and the stopper on the original bottle leaked....i dont have a filter on hand small enough to filter the bacteria,,so I have to find the alternative route....any ideas?
any filter passed a 10um doesnt filter bacteria...i have a 45um which is usless for bacteria..
I don't know any "true" sterilization processes, I'm sure google could be helpful. But I would think 40 mins in the oven @225 would do well. Make sure to add a needle to bleed off the air pressure and get a thermometer from a kitchen supply/baking store so you know exactly how hot the oven is.
I bake my tren to sterilize it at 250 degrees for 15 min, let cool then do it again for a total of three times. That is how I was taught to sterilize it. I am sure the EQ would be fine that way too. I agree with bwl about bad shit. If you are worried replace it.
who the fucks says a .45 micron ilter is too big for bacteria to pass.
99 % of bacteria will not pass through that size.
spores, yes. the odds you have spores in your gear are slim to none.
filter it, then if you want, bake at say 175-200 for 30 min
Membranes with a pore size of 0.1 – 10 µm perform micro filtration. Microfiltration membranes remove all bacteria. Only part of the viral contamination is caught up in the process, even though viruses are smaller than the pores of a micro filtration membrane. This is because viruses can attach themselves to bacterial biofilm.
Micro filtration can be implemented in many different water treatment processes when particles with a diameter greater than 0.1 mm need to be removed from a liquid.
