Just curious to how some of you get mentally ready to do your one rep max. I’ve heard some good ideas from some of the other guys in the gym; Metallica, envisioning the body that you want, somebody even told me that he pinches his leg before he maxes out. Personally, I used to listen to some hard core rap music before I max lift but it doesn’t have the same effect it used to. How do you get psyched?
