How Do You Decipher the Good from the Bad Advice You Learn Here?

I do by a few different ways. Post count is one but not the main one. Sometimes a very knowledgable user just comes to the board and offers some good advice and other times people with large post count say some riduculous stuff. Another way if they are a mod or not(not saying the mods are always correct but I would believe in their advice over others if there was conflict in opinion.)

Also by the knowledge a person commands in their presentation of the facts. The last criteria I use is the percentage of times you see the same advice come up. Now this can be deceptive sometimes because of misinformation. Then the last way is by gut. Inotherwords, if the advice just sounds logical or not.

Do you guys have the same type process to see if you are getting good or bad info or do you have some other ideas on deciphering it?

I just believe everyone and anything.. :FRlol: I'm kidding...
I generally listen to the mods and people who back stuff with facts... Also, you can tell, if you spend enough time here, who the knowledgeable members are and who the not-so-helpful ones are... And i tend to believe what the more knowledgeable bros have to say about certain things.

YUM

Nice to see someone realize that knowledge doesn't come in solely post counts...There have been quite a few individuals who from their FIRST post count you could tell were VERY educated on the subject of ergogenesis...Oddly enough,I have visited a couple of other boards and was called a "dumb-ass newby"from guys who had a thousand posts or so at those particular sites and were not familiar with who I was,LOL..."You can't drink winny, you dumb-ass newby,it was made for injection,so inject it."

I hear if it is written by Nautica - You must believe it.

By the way, I have a bridge I am trying to sell.

Nautica

I usually trudge through medical texts and scientific studies to verify much of what I hear and then from there I make an educated decision where possible.

Huck,

I think you are one of the most knowedgable dudes here. I bet you had to roll roll your eyes at that crap then and say well keep shoving it in your ass boys if that is the way you like your winny.

Oh I forgot to say I also think you picked one most cool user names on the board too.

Yep, it is a cool name. So where did you come up with that name anyway. Does it have a meaning?

I have found that if you keep reading and reading, the good/real information will eventually make itself clear. In other words, the more you know, the more you know.

The bullshit will become apparent eventually.....
