how do you add the enanthate ester to base?

For the life of me I cant find out how if you have test base, you turn it to test enanthate. and please no one respond with "too complicated just buy test enanthate"
 
Lol well it is to complicated. you are talking about attaching an ester to testosterone molecules. Do you think its honestly work the time and effort to buy all the supplies and spend all that time for something you can buy at the same price?

your not a scientist so dont worry about it.
 
probobly need a chemistry degree, or you can mix some test base with Heptanoic acid and see what happens. but its too complicated to get a pure product without lab equipment and knowledge.
 
Heptanoic anhydride or heptanoyl chloride slowly added to test base in pyridine solvent (Pyridine is nasty, use a fume hood). Extract, wash, recrystallize, wash...check purity on HPLC, repeat wash/recrystallization as needed.
Oh yeah, and the anhydride or chloride needs to be in large excess to drive the equilibrium to product side.

yeah i have been reading about esterfication. and I got that book anabolic steriods and making them by prof. frank. and all I have gathered is you get that heptonoic acid, testosterone, and selenuim doixide and reflux it or something... I have no idea
 
yeah it does suck becuase im not even sure if it was talking about esterfication of testosterone or making boldenon... hahaha
 
Its talking about making boldenone, because selenium dioxide is an oxidizer- in this case it is used to add another double bond to the A ring. I suggest taking a few years of organic chemistry classes at the undergraduate level. It really is worthwhile if you are interested in this kind of thing...
