how do I capture a video screen image?

Ok... I pause the dvd player, hit CTRL+PrtScr and then go to open it in Paint Shop Pro.

But it comes out skrewed, dimensions are all wrong and half the picture is off the viewing area.

What gives?

Sounds like you need to print the image to fit the page.

Or edit the image to fit on an 8x11 page.

Ummm... how do I do that? Also, I crop the image like I want, hit COPY, open a new canvas hit PASTE and it comes out black. If I try to save the image at any time, it comes out black too.

just to clarify... I can open all pics I have on my machine and camera and do anything I want to with them, so the Paint Shop program is working fine. It is just the images I try to capture off Shareaza.

Hrm, there is an option in the windows print window that allows you to print the image to fit.

Interesting...on my computer you simply hit print screen--not holding control. Try it this way. Open it with Paint.
