How do I alter a PDF file?

I have Adobe Reader and am looking at a budget (basically just a bunch of categories and numbers) that I need to slightly alter. Is there a program I can download to do this?

you need the full version of Acrobat or Illustrator.

Photoshop will open a pdf, as will Freehand, Acrobat is the choice though.
