How did Arnold make it in Hollywood

I mean he can't act. He barely spoke english for that matter. What made him appealing to audiences when others aren't?

yeah i think part of the reason why he was so successfull in bodybuilding as well is that he looked a lot better in the face than a lot of other bodybuilders and he had a full set of hair. He looked a lot better than Ferrigno which I think hurt ferrigno on stage against him. Arnold has a lot of personal flair which i think is similiar to the flare that the rock has.
