How destroyed should I be after SLDL's?

I am getting back into deadlifting after taking time off after hurting my back. I did high reps and low weight today to make sure I kept my back flat, head up, and legs straight.

My lower back has been extremely sore all day and its borderline painful if I arch my back to bend over.

Am I hurting myself or am I just really sore?
 
I was like that when I did them in highschool. I did sets with 135X10reps. You get over it. Just give yourself plenty of time to recover. It sounds like you have good form but just remember not to jerk the weight.
