1" all the way in the quads here. i'd run it in all the 1 1/2" on the ass just the same.
The only thing I really use now is delts and pecs and I go 1" all the way in...

I thought you were supposed to leave about an eigth inch out just in case the needle ever breaks. (That way you have something to grab to pull it back out)?

i would take a poll, but i bet no one ever broke one off inside of themselves. if they did, whatever they were doing i have no idea. i've fell off a chair with one in me, and bent it in half and it flew across the floor, moved around so much that it hurt the next two weeks one time.....i mean what could you do to break it off? but that is the proposed protocol. i like to leave a little out just so i don't have to push it all the way in.
