It makes me sad to say this but I have a sister who is addicted to drugs really really bad and she is so damn skinny. Probably weighs about 80 pounds soaking wet. She has aged so much in the past year and there is nothing that I can do to help her cause she doesn't want help. She has 7 kids and 1 3/4 grandkids. What a waste!!!

Yeah, baby boy due in November. All the kids are turning out just like my sister too. The 4 oldest are either all drop outs or pretty close to it...hooked on drugs..do them with my sister...blah blah blah...I feel so sorry for the younger kids. They don't deserve to live like that.

welcome. Have you ever thought of doing an intervention for her? It's dramatic, but they do work. There is ALWAYS hope!

you can't help someone who does not want it! The end!

I stay away from her...not a good enviroment for me or my kids to be in...Its awful I know, but it has to be that way. I don't even allow them to come to my home cause everytime they do, something ends up missing.

True, tried to help an ex w/ an addiction but didn't work. Interventions are a last attempt, but if you cannot even be in that enviorment, then yep, you need to think of you first, so it's not awful!
