How can I sell my computer fast?

Hopefully someone that has bought or sold a used computer can help me out. I've got an IBM Aptiva with a Pentium 2 processor, CD/DVD player, 3 1/2" drive and a couple of other open bays. How much should I ask for and whats the best way to get rid of it quick and easy. I was only hoping to get 300-400 dollars for it?

You near a college or Univ. ? That's going to be your best bet. I got a PII Door stop at home too.

69Muscle,

How do I find all that shit out? I looked through the control panal but didnt see all that info?

Humanshell,

Thats all I want really mabye 200-300 dollars.

If you cant tell, I'm a caveman when it comes to this shit.

You don't have to open up the computer to find out all you PC vital stats. The BIOS will tell you all that.

1. Turn off the computer.

2. Start it up holding down the F1 key (F8 or esc on some PCs).

3. Release F1 when the PC makes a noise as it tries to start.
The BIOS screen should appear and you be able to find out processor speed, video card info, audio etc.

4. Don't save any changes you might accidentally make because if you don't know you're doing you could stop you're PC from working properly.

Tru dat. But novices probably shouldn't be crack their cases open either but I see your point.

Also my BIOS does tell my my video card info. I had 4mb of video RAM coming of the motherboard. And when I put in a 32mb video I made the charges in the BIOS so there would be no confusion. My BIOS show there no to be 32mb of video RAM and the card model
