How Bad Does Raking Leaves SUCK!

I am going to smash my blower into a thousand pieces since it broke today.

I have oak leaves falling from about a month ago until late Feb.. My trees are these very large oaks, easily 50+ feet tall, multiplied by eight trees, plus six smaller trees.


I'm trying to figure out how to train the squirrels in my yard to rake them for me.

That is exactly my problem, Oak trees are everywhere and those suckers can drop the leaves. I was thinking about paying someone in the future.

I'm just gonna wait until most of them have already been cleaned up, and then blow the rest back into my neighbors yard. I only have one tree, and I think it's dead anyway, so none of those leaves are even mine in the first place.

I wonder why no one ever waves to me?

Before I owned a house I'd always think "I wish I had a yard to take care of". lol I have HUGE trees in my front yard. It's SUCH a pain in the ass to rake. It's probably the thing I hate most about having a house.

I tried to run them over with the lawn mower last year. Doesn't work once there wet.

If there aren't a lot of leaves the mower works fine but my trees pretty much dropped the leaves within a week and there was no visible grass left with deep leaves. I started the mower thing but the bag would fill up within a minute and it was an even bigger pain in the ass.

The yard in general is less fun than I'd thought it would be. lol

I sometimes wish I didn't have what I have. Become a drifter and travel the world with nothing holding me back. Then I realize that that might suck too.

i usually pay drifters to rake my leaves. then when they turn out i hit them in the head and take my money back.

I live in a cheap apartment, drive an '88 Blazer, and have nothing materially to speak of. I am a personal trainer who is just getting established. I will definitely appreciate the things that I will have. I am not unhappy without them though. I'm not very materialistic.
