I still have hope, but I have moved on with my life. Going back to Grad School, hopefully get a teaching job and even met a 26 year old 5'10" sandy blonde who would like to have dinner with me. However, she has my numbers and hasn't called yet. Only been a week, but I think I get the idea.

Anyway, still feels weird being able to talk to another woman without having done anything wrong.

As for my other half, she is...well, I hope she is okay.

Kids are fine, seeing them next week.

You're a guy that has no exwife and no kids. Trust me, when you have the ex "baggage" and the constant worry of "is this person good enough to be in the presence of my kids ever" it can honestly suck "the fun" right out of it.

In addition when you have children and are working and have "the ex" bullshit to navigate that cuts out ALL of your free time, making your time your most precious commodity. So if you go out with peeps that aren't awful, but also aren't anything special it really makes you lose interest in the entire process.... BUT FAST.

Well I can't answer for all taht but I have friends of both sexes who are mothers/fathers and also don't have a negative view of dating.


Its just the way I am maybe, but I will never see it as a negative. I believe it is up to the person to make it into a postive and even if not interested in the person I will have a great time and so will they.

I love meeting new people and will enjoy the process until I meet the one that makes me want to settle down.

That is my deal as well. No one will ever meet the kids unless it becomes serious t the point that I have asked them to marry me. She has also agreed to that as well for her. So far she has stuck to it, but that guy that is fronting her has been pressuring her to secure his prize. "You are a package deal..."

I just want to have some fun, not looking to get serious with anyone, it does make you feel like you are somewhat alive after having been declared dead after gettting your ass handed to you on a platter.

Well, found out the girl I was eyeing has had exactly the same thing happen to her right down to just breaking up with her boyfriend of 5 years. So, I figure if she calls we are on, if not, I'll just keep looking.
