They are used by the police as a tool to say 'see we know you did it' that's it.

I don't know of any courts where the results of a lie detector test is admisable... that's bullshit, I think you got bad information.

People that know what they are doing can 'pass' a lie detector easily.... it doesn't detect a lie at all infact.
