Awww tho Dr. Phil is ummm, well he talks alot....I think the parent forum is a great idea! I'd love to pick the brains of some other parental units and find out how the heck I can win the negotiation of "you WILL clean your room". 
3 yro's can really stick it to ya!

.....so that was about 4.5 weeks ago....her room is still a disaster.

Kids do all sorts of entertaining or annoying things but if you don't have one, you don't care what they do. Jacked on roids eating 6 times a day and getting 9, 10 hours of sleep along with training. Good luck trying to do that with small children. LOL.

It was suggested bout a year ago, but nothing was ever done.
There are many of us on the boards. Frankly I am suprized that EF didn't create such a forum.

ummm, in addition to my first post promoting the idea....
i think it's a great motivational tool not only to other parents but also to child-less peeps, single folk, the married, lazies, etc. Why u ask? Well the way I look at it...this is a fitness forum. Parents need to look and feel hot too. heh We're all encouraging, supporting, and helping each other out. Although I think it's somewhat an equal mental challenge everyone to hop out of bed at 5:45am to get in the am cardio...or perhaps drag ourselves to the gym after putting in 8-12 hours in the office each day....something has to be said for all of those who do these things in addition to taking care of their little mini me's running around. I have to admit, trying to convince a 3 yro to get up at 5:30 is an act of god.
Intense dedication, motivation, drive, and a bit of insanity is a must have for parents to execute the "i'm gonna bounce a quarter off my ass" syndrome. There have been MANY days that I have found strength and motivation from other parents or single moms etc seeing them hop up and get to it. Makes it less easy to make up excuses. (dame them!)
Not that anyone asked my opinion, (not that they have to) I think it's easier to justify NOT eating healthy or NOT getting in the gym through out the week with the "oh well you know, i've got the lil one tonight". Aka: what I like to call pulling the "kid card".
(and please, those of you without kids...dont take offense & post back some ridiculous posts about "it's just as hard for me as it is you"....we're not in grade school....i'm merely making a point. I know your precious rear is working just as hard as the next guy)

Both of those things are prefectly reasonable. She's going to complain no matter what, so don't bend because she complains.biteme said:

That and not to mention that one of the girls (they are sisters) said she has made out with a girl and she's only 11. She said this in front of me. I will allow them to come to my house because my daughter has been friends with them since she was 6. They are a product of their environment and I feel sorry for them. But like you said, no way is my daughter hanging out at their house. She can hate me all she wants.
