Just heard from HT & nsashbl01! On her second show in 2 weeks, HT beat out 6-7 girls in the Lightweight BB category & took the OVERALL as well! And also had what the MC called "the loudest cheering section the show has ever had!" The show itself had 150 competitors.

We're gonna have to wait a little while for pictures but it sounds like HT put on a pose for pose stand off on the pose down & the crowd went nuts! And guess who won the BIG TROPHIES!

:garza: :garza: :garza: :garza:

I'm personally so proud and can't wait to hear more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Enjoy the pizza hun! You EARNED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Just watch the post -show bloat...:worried:)

THANK YOU for the BUMP!!!

Way to go HT!!!!!!

Hey Everyone!!!

Nsashbl is working on the pics...the lighting was not so good so we are working on posting pics that we are going to get from a professional..may be up to two weeks :(. However, he will post my routine and pics from outside the contest. Have to tell everyone...IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Having so many of my friends there was AMAZING...they said it was the loudest cheering section on the history of the show :) Okay, so they were a little intoxicated :). THE PIZZA TASTED SOOOOOO good. Can't believe it is all over, feel kind of lost but looking forward to getting back at it, jsut a little more relaxed :), less stress on the old husband, God bless him for putting up with me these past months...I am a LUCKY, LUCKY girl :)...Sassy, thanks again for ALL of your encouragement on Friday night...can't wait till Junior Nationals :)

HT

HT!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU ROCK! Wish I could've been there! (Although no pizza on my diet...) Just ease back into the regular food, particularly carbs & water to keep any post-show rebound to a minimum. Its always such a massive anti-climax, but just sit back & enjoy the LACK OF stress for a while!

Ok. So I'll give a good overview tomorrow AM. Right now I'm dead on my feat. Got to bed at 8:30 this AM, after being up 27 hours straight. So here's a link to her routine. http://www.pradelproductions.com/paigefullhart.wmv

All our pics sucked. The lighting was really bad and the competitors suffered imo. I did get teach to step forward into the good light for the posedowns, which worked well. Ok, gotta sleep......

GREAT VIDEO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She looks great!!!! HT you rock GF. Nash, you're such a great supporter of the HT :) Kudos to you as well :D

We had a great time this weekend at the competition and can't thank everyone enough for all the support! We had a almost 25 people there to scream for her during the prejudging. Then we had an entire row, 13 seats filled for the night show! The announcer said that we were the loudest fans in the history of their show! We only got P to laugh once though. (I made a pizza comment during the finals)

The morning of the show, she felt pretty good. She had done the water deplete and potassium load the same as she did for the KY show. She was drying out, but was still kind of flat. She did the Friday weigh in, and was 109, a tad lighter than we had expected. We both decided Sat morning that were gonna vary from the plan and add simple carbs throughout the day. She was fuller by the prejudging, but not nearly as full as the night show. Which was ok, because she did vary well with her 1/4 turns and mandatories. Chuck Sanow was calling the poses, and he switched it up a bit, she was ready though! All in all, her conditioning and posing, (thanks Anita) rocked the stage. She started in the center, and they moved no one next to her. So we were sure she had it.

So the crew left for the day and hit a local bar to get primed to scream for the night show. P and I went to the hotel to rest and practice posing. By 4 or 5pm, she was getting full and dry. Her body had more striations than ever, while being full. She was confident and ready!

By the time she finished her routine and was awarded her 1st place trophy, many of us had sore throats from yelling! I was really pissed at where they had the line ups in relation to the lighting. All the competitors were dull and showed less definition. So I ran back to the pump room to tell P to stand a few feet in front, and to come all the way to the edge of the stage for the posedown. The light was much better up there. I also told her that the girl that she was against in the posedown was much larger than her. Her legs also were huge, so P had to win with her hardness and had to show it right next to her. Right when the music started P went to the edge of the stage and her competition followed. They almost went pose for pose, and P squashed her. We were all worried, but P showed her who was boss. She blew her away in the back double bi, side chest, and side tri. Then P got up on her toes backwards with her arms overhead. Her definition was amazing. The music stopped and without hesitation the announcer said, "We all know the winner already"! It was so cool and when I get the video, you will hear how loud it was at that moment.

So all in all, it was a great experience for all. Today is P's birthday, and as an added bonus she gets to tell her kids of her victory!

I posted the pics I have and some from a friend. Due to the crappy lighting and no tripod, they are not too good. I will hopefully get some better ones soon. For now, check out... http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/hotea.../pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/hoteacher_p/my_photos

I finally got the chance to watch the video & HT you looked like you were actually having fun out there on stage.
Thanks for posting the video & a Happy Belated Birthday HT I hope you had a great one!!

Well, her post show week has been a bit tough for her. No real rebound or anything. She still looks great. She's been pretty tired. Especially Mon and Tuesday. Getting better as the week goes by. Changed her training up a bit. New program that will get her in and out of the gym quicker. Still tweaking it a bit.

Initial thoughts on future competition is that she will do the NPC Jr Nationals in June 2007. We were talking about a show in Sept thats a national qualifier. Not that it matters, but maybe for fun since she'll have all Summer to prepare.

I can finally get back to my luchtime training. Even though I've been working out with HT at night, I still seem to lift harder on my own. I'm still hobbleing from my leg workout Monday!

As far as going back to a normal diet, thats not happened. She was eating clean before the show and will likely be cleaner now. Just a little more variety and stuff. She can now have her wine and dare I say the smoking that she hides from me when she drinks! Oh well, we all have our crutch!

She's planning a small party at a local bar soon so she can show her show video when we get it. There was a pro there that got the whole show. Were still waiting for more than the clip we already have.

I remember the words, "I'm just doing one show".... Yea, competitiveness bites us all at some point!

Hey Everyone!

Just wanted to give you an update. I went bak to the gym on Monday after my show...felt good, believe it or not stronger than before my show. I think the Thursday-Sunday rest was good for me :) The food thing is hard. I have delt with an eating disorder as a teenager and have had some trouble getting back to reality. I am still eating very clean...have only added in a few glasses of wine here and there and ate a whole pizza on Saturday. my birthday was the following Monday and have not been able to brink myself to eat birthday cake...is that weird? So, we shall see....I know i need to change up the diet, because your body can even become adapted to clean food...my trainer REALLY stressed that adaptation is NOT good have to throw some junk at the body once and a while! So...I plan on eating large amounts of pizza every Saturday. i also plan on changing up the workouts..have to meet with my trainer to see what is best. At this time, i plan on doing the September show in St. Charles IL...I have the summer off so I can really prepare right! Then I will do the Junior Nationals next June. Lastly, i am thinkinf of keeping a log on this board? Is that okay? I just want to keep myself acountable for the food and workouts...What do you think?

Thanks sooooo much for EVERYONE's Support....I am truly Lucky to have you all!

Lastly, i am planning a viewing party of the DVD from the show at a local bar near my house on the big screen....I am treating everyone to pizza :) It will be May 6th at noon at JESSE OAKS in Greyslake, IL..Anyone who lives near in Il is MORE THAN WELCOME!!!! I would LOVE TO MEET YOU ALL!!!!!!!!! Please just PM me by May 1st so I have a count :)...Have a GREAT day :)

I always hear a little about this anabolic effect after a period of stress like you've been thru - I've gone straight back to training after competing and really enjoyed the lifting. For most people I also think continued training all the way up to your show date will work against you (though I've seen some people who look better trainng all the way up to it).. Its all a very weird & interesting process.

As far as the variety in diet - I completely agree. Especially off season. IMO, make sure you eat clean still -- but mostly make sure you continue to get the min amount of protein you need to support your current muscle mass - anything else can be on top of that -- i.e. dont' substitute junk for your min protein requirements just to keep the total cals down. And include more fruits & stuff -- let your body start gettign back the things it needs to handle the daily garbage collection, etc. The restricted diet will start up soon enough w/ a Sept show!

Would love to be in IL for your grand premier... but Cinci is a long enough drive for me :)
