Horrible pains

I just started my second week of PCT with Clomid(day 1 300 mg, then 10 days, 100mg, then 10 days 50 mg) I came off of a cycle of Test Prop for 8 weeks and all of a sudden tonight "before" my clomid consumption I have this shooting pain in my right hand only. It's like in the joints of the fingers and it's throbbing and hurts like hell. Anyone else ever experience this before?

I doubt it has anything to do with the supplements you're taking. I'd just throw some ice on there to decrease any inflammation in the area, and see how it feels in the morning.

It sounds to me like high blood preasure. A heart condition of some source. If it continues for a day I would rush to a doctor.

Where do you get this from? He has a pain in his right hand bro...I think you just GAVE him a heart condition...lol.

Just how do you come to that conclusion. He just said he had a pain in his hand and by that you say he has a heart condition.

Hopefully it goes away soon...did you do something to your hand?

some times allergic reactions, but not a Dr here just personal experience.,.,.,.,.,.,.anyway keep an eye on it , and don't hesitate to go the Dr.........

clomid has a very long half life (5-7 days) so it could be related (irrespective of last dose occured after pain began).

sounds like a nerve issue, perhaps related to either water retention(pressure on nerve) and/or electrolyte shift (due to hormonal environment changes).

or it could be wholely unrelated.

High blood pressure certainly does not cause this symptom.

I am not saying this is even remotely related, but the tingling in the arm, isn't that a possibel sign of a stroke?

I would check the insert on Clomid (If you have one) and check all of the side effects listed and the likelihood of each...Usually the info you need regarding sides is right in the info...although they may not have tested the product as much on men

Thanks for all the replies guys, that is the biggest response ever to a thread I've started since I've been here. The pain has gone away overnight but I'm still going to keep an eye on it. I do a lot of "by hand" work at my shop like detail sanding and staining so my hand is always clamped or squeezing something, it might just be some pains from that. But thanks again for the replies!

probably tendinitis. take an anti inflammatory, you over stressed you hand at work. just keep an eye on it to prevent long term damage. you'll be fine.

I had something similar using wraps and heavy shrugs... Nerve damage from the tugging etc... Monitor closely.

If it continues, it might be a sign of carpal tunnel syndrome...just keep an eye on it like you said.

None of us here are doctors and if there is one then he should advice him. My father had that kind of a pain and had a stroke. That's why I gave that advise, and I repeat advise because the supplements has nothing to do with it. Like I said "if it continues, then check it out"
