What's the stand on working out while sick? I'm not all-over sick, I feel perfectly normal except for this crud in my lungs which only bothers me when I do my HIIT cardio. Today is my lower-body lifting day. Should I just go ahead and do my lifting/cardio thing and just take it easy on the cardio, or what? Just wanted to know what all the veterans out there thought...

if you are not chest congested or running a high fever you will be fine.
 
may be an issue with the cardio. I don't normally like to train when im running fever really congested.

Just feel like when i over do it, i end up being out longer than if i just took that one day to get some rest.

Listen to your body, sometimes it, its way of telling you to rest.
 
I try to workout no matter what. Some people say if you're not into it 100% then it's useless. I don't agree. The only reason I would not do it is if there is absolutely no way I can get out of bed other than to piss and eat/drink. Everyone's different though. It may be better to take a few days off and recoup but I just don't like that idea.
