There is a "new" weight-loss herb out of africa called Hoodia, it was recently profiled on 60 minutes. The program indicated that many of the Hoodia products on the market today contain little or no Hoodia. Does anyone know if there is a supplier that offers pure Hoodia?

There is a "new" weight-loss herb out of africa called Hoodia, it was recently profiled on 60 minutes. The program indicated that many of the Hoodia products on the market today contain little or no Hoodia. Does anyone know if there is a supplier that offers pure Hoodia?

I saw the 60 minutes show and got pretty fired up about it. Ordered some from a company down in S. Africa, but then immediately got buyers remorse. Turns out my creadit card company rejected the transaction because it looked suspicious, so I never got the stuff.

About two weeks ago I found a different brand at my local health food store. $25 for 60 100mg caps. I started with 6 a day and went up to about 12. Nothing. Total waste.

But part of me still wished I'd gotten the stuff from S Africa, http://www.aloe.za.com/. Their caps are supposed to contain 480mg.
